Avramar is pleased to announce that it took top honors from the International Taste Institute in Brussels, winning the Superior Taste Awards for its top-quality Mediterranean fish. Products that are granted the Superior Taste Award have gone through a sensory evaluation by more than 200 professional chefs and sommeliers.
“Life is too short not to eat and drink well. At least, that’s what we believe at the Taste Institute. That is why we created the Superior Taste Award. Every year thousands of products are evaluated, but only the best are certified,” the International Taste Institute reported on the awards.
This year, the Avramar Sea Bass received the highest score for its exceptional taste, three stars. Avramar’s Pagrus Major and Stone Bass (known as Corvina in Iberia, Maigre in France and Bocca d’Oro in Italy) also got excellent feedback on flavor, receiving two stars.
“Our mission is to make Better Fish for Better Lives, and we are delighted to have been awarded for doing just that. We are very proud that our outstanding Mediterranean fish receives this level of recognition for its exceptional taste. Congratulations to all award winners,” commented Thor Talseth, Group CEO.
